A book I think you should read

Here is a book i think everyone should read and it is called The Sight.
Personally. i think that this book is wonderful because it expands your intrest of the wild life, lera, around you. It also touches on in the book how human development affects the creatures and the enviroment.

This story takes place in Transylvannia, Romania in the land beyond the forests. It is about a wolf pack and their struggles and journey through their extrodinary and adventure-some life together through love and loss. Some of the wolves in this story contain within them a specail ability the wolf, varg, call the Sight, and this power is accepted by some, rejected by others, and a few even take advantage of it. About how good and evil do not always have a clear line and that sometimes things may change and twists may turn you into a whole nother train of thought. This really is a fantastic book that i highly recommend. Trust a book nerd like moi, everytime i passed this book in the store i would pause and after the third time i bought it, i also think you will definatly want to, after you have finished Larka's story go onto the sequel, Fell, and continue the journey alongside these amazing wolves.

Vegetarianism.

Many humans are not vegatarians because we have maintained a liked diet of the animals we eat from when our many ancestors hunted and feasted upon the many creatures surrounding us. And, there is absolutely, positively nothing wrong with that, at all. Meat provides some of the proper nutrients and protein we need in our bodies to keep us strong and healthy.
So, why do people become vegetarians? I mean, why go against our own nature? We have kanine teeth for tearing up the muscle of our prey. Of course we are not carnivores, but then again we are not just herbivores either. An odd mix of both, the omnivore, like many other animals such as the bear, the fox, and the coyote. We have the flat teeth for grinding plant fibers. SO, then again why doesn't everyone become a vegetarian? Well, for one thing we are definatly at an odds for being such a young species. Surely we have come and evolved in great strides, but is it all great?

I am, if you did not already know, a vegetarian. First off, to get an better understanding of, well..what you don not understand, you have to learn and research, get a different point of view, maybe even try it out...maybe.
SOME BASIC FACTS TO KNOW (just so you don't make a complete fool of yourself or insult someone):
~there are 3 different types of vegetarians.
1.Pescetarians. They are the leaniest types of vegetarians because they eat fish.
2.Vegetarians. The in-betweens, not strict, not relaxed; just disciplined. They do not eat meat or fish.
3.Vegans. They have the strictest diets of them all. They eat no meat, no fish, and no animal biproducts, such as milk or eggs. (you kind of have to give them kudos cause that's a huge portion of diets for most people and it's super hard to follow (i've tried))

~just because vegeaterians do not eat meat does not mean we don't eat anything. my friends usually make fun of me beacause i am a vegetarian and i am so skinny that they say i need to eat meat. I usually laugh at this because when you really think about it there is only one section of the pyramid that contains what i choose not to eat, and even in that one small section it has two things i do not eat. That's it. It's quite silly when people fuss over it, in actuality.

~no special treatment. no. none. we are not any weaker, or any more fragile than you. Although some of my friends would disagree with me, im sure. the only difference is our prey.

*i might have gotten a little biased on this comparison picture...my bad..no offense to anyone...*

WHY?
i became a vegetarian because i just simply do not like the way we process our animals when we kill them. Personally, it sickens me the way animals are treated and disrespected just because they are our prey of choice and i actually have respect for all animals and i do not see myself as above our original and tru nature. No, i am not a peta advocate and will try to convert you every waking second. That would be just...odd.

WELL PLANTS ARE LIVING THINGS TOO, WHY DO YOU EAT THEM BUT NOT ANIMALS?
Usually when someone asks that i'll say, "Your face." But, in a serious matter, plants give off fruits and seeds that are meant to be eaten because usually an animal will eat a fruit then go off some place and then later will crap out the seeds. The waste acts as a fertilizer and then planted with the seeds,BAM, all of the sudden you have a new tree with new fruits to be eaten and the cycle starts all over again. See? It's a natural process for plants to be eaten. Yes, i do agree for other animals it is also natural to hunt, kill, and eat animals for them to survive. But, this is right where my opinion probably waivers different from yours. I believe, that in this day and age, what with all the new technology and constant discoveries we do not need to eat as much meat as we do and probably none at all. I say this because there are so many different supplements and vitamins and different things that do not actually require us to do any specific thing.

Yea, i am an apparent animal lover. As if i can help myself. I also love helping and serving anyone in need of help the best way i can, in a way it's my kryptonite.
Because when i see these faces, i don't get hungry, or see a steak or pork chop or dog treat, all i see is helplessness. A defense unknown to them, and i life they are unable to live, i cannot help myself, all i want to do is set them free and help. I just want to make a difference and hope someone, anyone will notice.

So, tell me, what do you see?

i am not trying to convert anyone or be crude to your diet because i do respect everyone's own choices and opinions so, please take no offense to anything i have portrayed or said.
&& if you have any more questions, just ask i'll update and answer.

and then afterwords....

we played cards (which i am addicted to)

sweet or sickening?

everybody knows that the oh so dreaded/loved "Valentine's Day" is just around the bend.
so is valentine's day just for love struck couples
and for all the single people to find that so-called "special someone"?
and if that's tru then are the people that dislove valentine's the heart broken and scorned lovers?
is valentine's day

sweet or sickening?

there are, of course, two sides to this.
i dont happen to know them but i do know one thing, or three..
1. how to look it up in the dictionary.
Valentine Day
–noun
February 14, observed in honor of St. Valentine as a day for the exchange of valentines and other tokens of affection.

Love
noun, verb, loved, loveing.
–noun
1.
a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
2.
a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.
3.
sexual passion or desire.

2.that this silly holiday isn't for just the people in love or just for the heart broken to hate..
The whole point of it is to show dedication, to prove yourself, loyal, worthy. To reach for what you arent even supposed to be searching for. Maybe i am off base, but then again, maybe, just maybe i am right on target.

3. yes, St.Valentine was very passionate about love and marriage and he is even the patron of affianced couples, bee keepers, engaged couples, epilepsy, fainting, greetings, happy marriages, love, lovers, plague, travellers, young people. It's not all about love though, is it? Sure, sure, it plays a big role, but it's not the only piece on the playing field, is it? Nope, it's more than just lovey-dovey mushy crap that make up this holiday...a lot more.

so, why am i writing about st.valentine and his day?
good question, because it makes no sense for me to; i'm an atheist and even though i have a boyfreind i still hate Valentine's Day.
I guess i am trying to prove to others and mainly myself that there is more to everything than meets the eye..

A boy gave a girl twelve roses.
Eleven were real and one was
fake.
The boy said to the girl,
"I will love you till the last rose
dies."
